Hollow & Phantom Bows

As part of the Festivus Patch Archers may now enjoy the benefits of Hollow Weapons. Unless you are PK, these weapons will be of little use to you, but they sure are pretty! The one exception that I know of is that the Phantom Bows work well on Virindi Exicuters. With either bow you will need the Chorixite Fletching tool. The bows can only be used with Hollow Arrows and you must use the Fletching Tool to make these arrows or find somebody who can make them for you... a little tougher if you are on Dark Tide. ;-) In all cases you must take your Chorizite Ore to be refined. To do this you have to take it WAY up North to Feruza ibn Salaq (76.0n, 49.1w). Once refined then you need to take it to the Crater. Once there you will need to buy a Glyph from Silencia and use this on your chunk of refined Chorizite then hand it over to her Golem.

If you want yourChorizite Fletching Tool, this is where you need to go. You need a hunk of Medium Grade Chorizite to make the tool.

	5000	10	A Glyph with the image of a fletching tool emplazoned upon it.
	2000	100	A fletching tool that can be used to make chorizite arrowheads. Use this tool in fletching.

You will use this tool like you would the Barbed Fletching tool directly on normal, Greater or Deadly Arrowheads. Once crafted the normals can't be made into Greaters, or the Greaters into Deadly.

Lugian Mines

It is pretty easy to get to the Lugian Mines from Qalaba'r, pretty much just run East from town and you'll be there. If you want to take a bit of a shortcut from the Settlement Portals near Qalaba'r which will drop you of much closer if you don't feel like getting a little exercise. Simply go to the Portals at 74.8s x 37.0e and take the Southern Park Settlement Portal. (Do Stan, Kyle and Kenny live there?) The mines are pretty straight forward, just go straight and when you get into them mine area hang a right. Make sure you kill a few Lugians when you go in and liberate a Pickaxe or you'll have nothing to get your ore with.

Lugian Excavation

This one can be pretty nasty! You will need to pick up some High Grade Chorizite for your Phantom Bow and it is not nearly as easy as getting to the Low Grade Stuff. Be sure to bring your Pickaxe or pick one up from your friendly neighborhood Amploth Lugian when you enter. Head down several levels. Make sure you bring your "Hollow Armour" or you will be in a world of hurt when the Gigas start chucking Chorizite rocks at you. Ouch! I actually died and had a heck of time getting back to my body.
