Questions and some Answers

Q: If you have this bow, where did you find our firend Hea Temanua?

A: "Look around the  'burned out' area (red soiled) north of the big dam, and to the west of the 'big glowing tree things'. Be careful of his hollow arrows..." --Din-Chin HG

Q:Can you buff the bow?

A: Yes, it can be buffed AND all spells except the Strength VI can be layered on top of the existing spells.

Q:Did you find Hea Temanua while the Olthoi Queen quest was active?

A: Almost everybody who has responded to this say that they found our buddy Hey Temanua during the Queen Quest or within a few minutes of the end of the Queen Quest. I assume that if he was found after the quest he was still triggered by the quest and still hanging out waiting to be killed.

Q: What was your bow skill when you made the bow?

A: I've heard of people with up to 329 (buffed) failing when they tried to string the bow. By the time I found a bow my skill was 370 buffed

This is part of the new Dark Majesty expansion. It can be found on Hea Temanua, a Level 111 Hea Tumerok. He will be with a couple of friends, Hea Kanokeh and Hea Karenua, also Level 111. They are found only on Mare Lassel, and from the reports I've received they only spawn during the Olthoi Queen quest, although they may remain around after the quest is finished if nobody has killed them.

They are a random spawn, and have never been seen in the lowlands. My best suggestion would be to start searching around the Dam. I have several times started at the portal drop point and run NE, but you need to have many protects because there are huge amounts of baddies in the area and you will get hit with tons of war spells.

This is my "Holy Grail" of bows right now. I've been desperatly searching for Hea Temannua since I heard about this bow. I haven't seen him since about 30 minutes after I first played DM, I saw 3 Level 111 critters, I was all alone, I ran. So it goes.

If anybody has any more information regarding this quest, please let me know.

I'd like to thank Nauri of HG for helping keep everything in order on the last night of the Eviscerator Quest before it got Nerfed! What a mess, thanks for keeping track of everybody!!!!

A friend of mine, who is a bit of a smart-ass has the bow, and reminds me every chance he gets that he has TWO of them! *$%&@##^!!!

New and Improved!
